Hi fellow pilgrims,
On the 1st of sept. i''m flying to Madrid and then taking a bus to Burgos. I have read that there is an albergue close to the cathedral. How can I get there ? Do I have to take another bus from the main station in Burgos? How do I say cathedral in Spanish, and is there only one cath. in Burgos? Stupid questions maybe, but anyway.............i''m asking.
i'll be glad for some advice.

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
Walk across the river from the bus station to the catedral; turn right at the bronze pilgrim statue in front of the catedral; turn left on the first street (it will wander just a bit); on Calle de Fernan Gonzalez, look for the new albergue at #28. There will be pilgrims around if you are in doubt.

The tourist office is next to the bronze statue. If it is open, you can get directions there.
