LIVE from the Camino madrid

Today our journey began. We traveled to Madrid and have walked all around the old part of town several times. Getting tired at this point. Madrid was lovely. Rainy and sunshining at the same time. Flowers in bloom are a good sight to those from the north part of the usa. Good food, helpful people and nothing difficult that could not be managed. Sleep tonight and then back to traveling.

Good to hear that you are well. Madrid is a beautiful place, but be careful around Sol... there are a lot of pick-pockets around there.

The weather in Santiago has been rain and rain all day today... most of Spain will get rain the rest of this week.
