Mailing box from SJPP To Santiago

Our plan is to transport our backpacks in duffel bags. When we arrive in SJPP we will box up the duffel bags (with a broken down box we'll carry) and mail them to our hotel in Santiago. We arrive in SJPP very late afternoon on Friday, May 25th. Will the post office be open at that time Friday and/or Saturday morning? Anyone have experience mailing a box from SJPP to Santiago? Cost? Easy to do?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Narimaid,

The hours for the Bureau de Poste (Post Office) in SJPdP and the location can be seen at this link. http://fr.nomao.com/706154.html It is open 9 to 12 and 2 to 5 each working day and 9 to 12 on Saturday morning. The location is on the Rue de la Poste (!) which is relatively near the train station.

Buen Camino!,

Margaret

Thanks Margaret for your speedy reply. So happy to know that the post office is open Saturday morning. We'll drop the box off on our way out of town...nari
