It is reported the cyclist is a diabetic and was suffering from acute
hyperglycemia at the time of his fall. An advisory has been issued to diabetic
pilgrims to be extremely careful with their Camino preparations and to avoid
taking any chances, particularly if they are cycling.

Buen Camino,
