There are several restaurants along the streets in the main part of town set up charcoal grills on the sidewalks starting in late afternoon for grilling freshly caught seafood. I had the best grilled tuna steak I've ever eaten at one on the R. de Heróis de França, which is right across from the fish market. It might have been the same as mentioned by @MyDestinationGalicia but I simply don't remember the name. I would guess that any of the others in that area would have been the same.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

+1 for this street. We feasted at an all you can eat sardine BBQ (for Eu6 a head) - eating fresh sardines grilled in front of you on the roadside BBQ - priceless...

My experience was similar to Scott’s except that the Rei da Sardinhas (the name says it all) is a small restaurant with the kitchen right in front of you. Fairly basic, well patronised by locals and with friendly owners, I had a great evening there. Rua Sul 91, just off the R. de Heróis de Franca. From memory the sardines were €6 or €7.

Don't know how it compares to the others in the area but on the recommendation of our AirBnB host we went to Tito I and were very happy with our meal.

I suspect the restaurants along that road are much of a muchness given that ingredients are mostly sourced from the same place and the cooking techniques aren't exactly complex.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Thanks all - there's no doubt which street we need to be on!!
We leave tomorrow :).

Sadly I will likely be there around 10AM but expect (hope?) to find similar arrangements in Vila Cha - Villa d' Conde stretch later that day. Can not wait to see, smell and then devour a plate of freshly grilled, fresh sardines.

we too will pass this place in early morn on October 18 as we start our first day walking from Porto but I am enjoying all this fish spirit
