There are a number of Blogs recording pilgrims' caminos this month. One that I have been following is:

http://thekeeffes.com/travelblog/?m=200704&paged=2

They started on the 21st April and there is a clever Google Earth map showing their climb from St Jean. It is almost poignant reading someone's Blog as they are walking! Here is the post from their first day:

Got our passports that day and were told that someone had died on the Napolean trail 2 days before and that two people had gone missing the day before, so we decided to take the easy route. The climb was smooth for most of the day until we hit the last 3 or 4 kilometers then it was all straight up. It was good to see the top but we were still a km. from the refugio and it was also almost 6pm. There was also rain and snow in there. The second day was up and down. It started well but the rain made the path VERY muddy. It was so slow just getting any distance on the path. It seems that every day here now it rains every afternoon about 4. Is wanted to stop and rest while there was thunder all around. Made for a very long day. Today was just walking and walking. There was beautiful scenery around, but we wanted coffee and the villages didn´t have any bars. Plodded around and finished here in Pamplona this afternoon. Tired.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
