I feel the hours passing
Was the day I waited for
All the wages of thought
Are lasting

What am i waiting

So many years in passing
Yet to put my shadow at your door
I can hear you calling
But i never put you in the fore

Am I a prize you've waited?

All the time contagious
Drawn hither and toward...
Away and overboard to shore
Smile and wave to take us

Time exists for those ignored
With all the times in passing
Waiting for me... matured
Was I worth waiting for?
Watching me from distant shores

Waiting for a messenger
He had a long way to run
Waiting on the messenger
Waiting lonely one

I wake and summon...
memories..And the lakes of tears...appear
Just beyond the summons
Someone always dis-appears
Misty eyes and no one
The empty house.
Appears...

Have i got a long way
To run...
The drum beat in my burdened chest arise
And wiping way long dried tears inside
Turns my face into the sun

The long strung beats of a longing heart turn to cadence once and again..

A messenger has come...
His running feet matching a new hearts beat

So here at last you've come
And smiles at a message come undone

Through the years Pilgrim
Sometimes comes a calling
But too many things to be left undone
Until finally only one...

Go find your feet under the river of stars
