Tip 1: the metro ticket cash machine doesn't accept 20 euro notes. You can buy tickets with cash notes in the tourism office next to Costa in the airport (the lady there was exceptionally helpful)

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
When you get out of the airport to get the train. Do you know the stop near the cathedral in Porto? there is a train station there , or what station do you get out of the train? if you any one knows this this would be helpful. Cheers

The yellow line, line D, goes over the Dom Luis I bridge (built by Georg Eiffel) to Vila Nova da Gaia The stop just before the bridge(stop São Bento) is the closest to the Sé cathedral. Coming from the airport you can stay on the same train to Trindade . For São Bento you have to change at Trindade station too .
I prefer to travel to the station Trindade and walk from there to the cathedral .
You pass the praça da Liberdade with the only place in the world where water has no "spirit level" 😊
And look at the typical Portuguese tiles in the hall of the world famous São Bento railway station. From Trindade it is an easy and relaxed walk to the Sé

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
thank you so much for that information. I was on the Portuguese Camino a couple of years ago and I am going again this fall, but I Struggled with the metro system over there . I did not know where to get off the train, so i just got off when I seen a large majority of people getting off.. lol . I got off way too soon, so my walk actually started early then . ha ! appreciate the information it will help me for sure this time.
