Can anyone tell me where I can purchase the Miam Miam Dodo guide in English?
Continuing from Burgos to Santiago in May and would like to consider booking some places ahead.

Sorry I do not think there is an English version. I can't speak much French but I find the maps and accommodation lists usable

Buen Camino

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
The Arles route MMD I had last year was easily understandable without a grasp of French, its mostly maps, with symbols for the places that you can stay at and eat in, these are numbered so you know which one you are looking at when you use the index for a map and its section. The maps are not great for directions. The back of my book had pages which gave the translation of the symbols into English and several other languages.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Is there not a column with the details in English ? As mentioned already the maps are easy to understand.

I have a copy and will have a look tonight.

It is only in French. Before you leave home go to a translate search engine on your computer and find the translation for the words and write them in your own language. The book mainly uses symbols so once you have these key words it is all very easy to understand. I found it invaluable. A bit bigger than I would like but I just pulled out pages as I went so it got lighter the further down the path I walked.

Can one buy the Miam Miam Dodo 2015 in Burgos?
I have been trying to order one from Canada and am not having much luck.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Which MMD? They are all in French, easily decoded (a droite a gauche not that hard!), maps only OK but will get you there, symbols easily understood. The classical French dysfunction in English no longer exists, the influx of English, Dutch, and Germans operating B&B's, restaurants, hotels, gites, and camping sites has caused the locals in Southern France to suddenly speak English quite well. The Chemin from Paris-Tours-Poitiers is much more "French" but after Poitiers you will be fine. No worries there. Since your French or lack of it seems to worry, you definitely should have your landlord call ahead to reserve the next nights planned stop-accepted practice. It will save you much jawbreaking as you attempt to wrap your tongue around the language. Bon Marche! Bon Camino!
