Plan to do Camino in 2020
Friends! I have found Modern Catholic Pilgrim to be an awesome group that allows you to go on pilgrimages in the US with longer distances and similar lodging to those on the Camino (I am hoping for a Camino trip in 2020).

They have a nationwide hospitality network of people who are willing to host you for free as you go on pilgrimage. I have done three with them, all out of San Diego, but they are all over, even in Trinidad and Tobago! We went on the weekend and did about 20-25 miles a day between CA missions down here, as well as a day long urban pilgrimage. Would really recommend!!

Siempre Adelante!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

There is, of course a Facebook group called the California Mission Walkers for information regarding the walk from mission to mission in California. For those interested, Edie Littlefield Sundby, walked this same mission route from Loreto, Mexico to the California border. She did it by mule, through the harsh desert of the Baja, after surviving treatment for lung cancer and the removal of her right lung! She was given three months to live, when she embarked on the journey. Her words: "It is a wild and crazy adventure along the old, unmapped El Camino Real mission trail through Mexico, parts of which no one has been on since before God was a baby!" Her story is a fascinating read. Her Facebook page is here: The Mission Walker. You can buy her book here: TheMissionWalker.com.

Thank you for the link, how you gone on any of the routes?

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
