Monument erected, in Monforte de Lemos.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Ah, well, a male pilgrim is better than no pilgrim at all. I think that anything that raises people's awareness of this glorious camino is a positive thing overall. Any news on pilgrim traffic this summer, ribeirasacra?

Nope not heard a thing about the amount walking this route. There was recent news on how many visitors there had been to the tourist information in Monforte de Lemos, but no figures given about who were pilgrims collection their stamps.
As a side note I recently visited a friend who has just moved to a house north of Oseira on the Via de la Plata. Whilst I know it is not very scientific but it was interesting to note I did not see one pilgrim between Ourense and Oseira. Things must be quiet on a lot of routes.
