Am in Mota del Cuerva.
The Guide warns that San Clemente is not welcoming. In my experience, this is not true.
On the way out of San Clemente sorting out the map and the arrows and the landscape is very confusing. If it is possible, take the Camino de Las Pedronas, which is also La Ruta de Don Quijote all the way.
Excellent albergue (for 2 people) in Las Pedroneras in the medieval Casa Parroquial.
I got lost in a maze of paths through vineyards today on the Camino between Santa Maria de Los LLanos and Mota del Cuevo. This was not disastrous as the N301 was close so I followed that. I would advise taking a compass on this route as the last few days, waymarking has often been sketchy (because often there is no where to put yellow arrows). This is the first time in over 2 weeks that I have lost the Camino not through my own fault.
More reflection on the blog.
