Thought you guys might like this song from Scottish folk singer Julie Fowlis. She was on the soundtrack for the Pixar animated movie "Brave" and this song was nominated for an academy award-- unfortunately it didn't win. I like this version thought because it is just Julie, her Irish husband Eamon Doorley on 8 string guitar, essentially an Irish Bouzouki shaped like a guitar, and the brilliant Scottish fiddler Duncan Chisholm. Non of that over produced studio nonsense. If you let it play you will get more Julie, although she may be singing in Scottish Gaelic which is similar to Irish Gaelic from which it was derived.
