I took these pictures from my back deck of some of the foothills of the Cascade mountain range on this glorious springtime day. This is looking west across the Columbia River, in North Central Washington state. I'm usually up in those hills 5 or 6 days each week for a couple of hours. The highest hills with the snow are at an altitude of about 6,800 feet (2800 meters).
Believe me when I say I feel Blessed to live in this place amid such a wonderful creation. It makes waiting to get back to Camino a lot more tolerable.
