This trip means EVERYTHING to me!
My Gratitude, my need for reflection & for guidance are 'full-to-bursting' within me!
I feel beyond blessed & fortunate to be physically ABLE to embark on this walk when I know
so many who can not!

I found this forum in April of this year & have been glued to it almost daily! I thought I'd have asked numerous questions by now but trip planning has long since stopped being the motivation to check out the forum! The full & varied posts comfort me in a way that I know needs no explanation here! It just helps expand in me the 'openness to receive' that the tug of the Camino creates!

I was originally supposed to leave for my Camino Sept 10 -Oct. but work came up unexpectedly & I thought I would have to cancel completely!
Delayed but not swayed, I found that I would only have to postpone for a couple more weeks! The beauty of my new dates is that my return will now have me home just 1 week shy of my favorite holiday.....THANKSGIVING! How PERFECTLY FITTING is THAT?!:D

I will be leaving Atlanta next Wed., Sept. 26 to fly to CDG-Bayonne-train to SJPDP, to begin my 1st Camino on Fri. Sept. 28, although I feel my Camino really began in April.

So many wonderful, interesting things have happened since I put things in motion (like finding out one of my REI angels was also my neighbor & we walked together once & had breakfast on the morning of her flight out & she is currently walking the CF!) & so many 'beautifully'-painful things that I'm meant to reflect on while I'm walking, presented themselves too & ALL of it is meant for MY good! I just KNOW it!

Thanks to all of you, I now know what to do as those inevitable 'butterflies' are beginning to show up:oops: & the worries of my loved ones present themselves in the numerous times they ask me the same questions over & over!:) I may ask a few more questions myself as time draws nearer but for right now.........

Thank you all for being here & for what you share & give of yourselves!
I can't wait to be among the ones to have a 'past Camino(s)' listing under my name!

Buen Camino & Ultreia!:):D

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Best of luck. I'll hit the trail to Roncevalles a week later, on Oct. 6.
Wow! Thank you! Hope we run into each other! I will probably have a lot of purple on! LOL! Favorite color! Do you still get just as excited as the first time?

Buen Camino , @SoLive !
You will be walking later than you thought, which may be a blessing - there will be no crowds and more space for reflection.
May it be a grace-full journey, and all that you need.
