I’ve done stints of the Camino 4 times now since 2016 and this January I started to learn Spanish in preparation for a fifth longer trip this year. It was not to be 😷

However I’ve kept up my weekly Spanish lessons on Zoom, I’ve just reached my 100th consecutive day of Spanish on Duolingo and I’ve also today completed 82% of the virtual Camino from St J. This week I’ve been listening to the Camino Podcast as I walked around Bath and Avon in the UK, which has been fascinating and inspiring. The weather has been hot here and at times I really felt I was on the real thing especially when I saw a church spire rising ahead in the distance.

I will be back in Spain as soon as I can. Until then I’ll continue in my virtual way. Buen Camino to all of you! 7A8E4B89-B6CC-48B6-BC70-FC231F621C5C.jpeg

Hi, I have recently completed my virtual Camino. Having walked the Camino twice it was lovely to remember all the villages and towns along the way. Hopefully will be back on the Camino next year.
