Every year, since 2000. Most times portuguese camino also twice the french camiño. Two time Le Puy .
I´ll be walking the Vezelay route next september and can´t decide which one.
. Till now the only information I have is that Bourges is a little flatter and a little shorter...
Thoughts??
Thanks

Reality is frequently inaccurate
I chose to walk via Nevers because I had read that the Bourges route is flatter and leads you mainly through forests and wheat fields, so not a lot of variation. The Nevers variant is more undulating and varied. On a more religious level you can either choose for Bourges because of the cathedral or Nevers for Bernadette Soubirous. Or you decide based on the fact that the variant through Nevers is 31,6 km longer. I have no regrets that I picked Nevers, although the actual stage to Nevers was in hindsight the hardest and longest day of my camino. But that had nothing to do with the terrain and is a different story altogether...
