New albergue : Chinchilla de Monte Aragon, between Almansa and Albacete.

This morning we had the official inauguración of the new albergue in Chinchilla.

- oct-may 12:00-21:00 local time
- jun-sept 11:00-21:00 local time

The albergue is in the main square, in the lower part of the ayuntamiento.

New marking with scallops is done to drive you there,
but in this moment there is a panel, arrow like, mis-located, ignore it and only rely on scallops, untill the error is corrected.

Although not officialy inaugurated, 6 pilgrims stayed there from August 22, 2+1 french ones, 1 from Italy, 1 from Norway and 1 from Spain.
During the inauguration arrived 2+1 more french people, this is moving...

How great to have an albergue up in the old town! The two truck stops on the highway below were perfectly ok but how much nicer to be up in the casco histórico. My experience with Albergues that are located inside the ayuntamiento/town hall is that they are spotless since the municipal cleaning staff just adds the albergue to their rounds.

It will be added soon, but we could not do It before It was official by the ayuntamiento.
