New albergue to open in Milladoiro

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
It is open - but .5 kms later you can see the spires of the Cathedral. I hope they have made a wise decision!

I'm not sure what you mean... isn't Santiago still another 7-8km from Milladoiro? My group is feeling quite weary and not keen on walking the full 25km from Padrón tomorrow.

I think he means that half a kilometer further on from Milladoiro, you can se the spires (but still have some way to go)

I just checked on Google - it looks like there's about 5-6 km from Milladoiro:

Hi :)

a few days ago I slept there. Clean, tidy, spacious. Great location, about 7 km to the cathedral.
In the morning nobody gets up at five o'clock ;), have breakfast in peace, get ready without hurries.
And on a gentle stroll we arrive at the cathedral on time at pilgrimage mass at noon.

Extraordinarily

Agreed, a good location as far as I'm concerned. No need to arrive in Santiago beaten up.
