New blog! May/June 2012 walk

I've got about one month to go before I leave from Boston, Massachusetts USA to head to Paris and then on down to SJPD. I've started this blog to chronicle my training in the days leading up to the trip and will continue to update daily each night at the alberques. Enjoy and please feel free to leave comments! I'm still very nervous so would love the encouragement.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Good luck on your walk. We are leaving Georgia on April 29 and hope to get to SLPdP on the 30th. Start walking on May 1. Have booked a bunk in Orisson for that night. Hope to see you along the way. We also have started a blog on WordPress. How did you get your format with the background and pictures. Ours is very generic.

Hi John and patti!

I also have that night at orrison! I might end up walking past it though. Hopefully we'll see each other :).

For the Wordpress blog I just picked from their free formats and uploaded a picture of my own. I'm definitely not tech savvy so I bet if you dig around like I did you'll figure it out. I'd love to see your blog!

Hi Joan,
My girlfriend and I are leaving for the Camino next week. April 20. Like you, we are also excited and a bit overwhelmed about the Camino. We have a blog that we have started leading up to our trip, and hope to continue it along the Camino. Have a super trip. Here is our blog link.

This is so awesome!! Last minute, I decided to take the walk, and I have A LOT to do in a very short period of time. Headed from Pittsburgh, PA to Nuremberg Germany, where I'll stay a month. Planning on Mid May for my walk.

Any pointers on where to start? I have literally nothing planned as of right now, but I'm doing it! :D

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

That's so exciting! I'd just start by taking a look at some of the great packing list suggestions on this site and seeing what you're missing. Then start planning your travels to Saint Jean Pied Du Port!
