Some commercial offerings are very useful to Forum members: new albergues, publications, some restaurants, cultural events, side trips, baggage service, bicycle rental and repair, and hotel rates come to my mind. They usually are posted by Forum members who have found them useful themselves, but I personally do not see the danger in having them posted by the owners. The current threads could/should be used for those businesses that want to publicize their offering, Camino related, of course, publications/DVD's, accommodations, food, and bicycle. The typical Forum member seems pretty savvy about identifying blatant commercialism, so I would favor fairly liberal posting criteria. Changing a Subject line is pretty harmless, but I am always interested in an alternative to Brierley!!!

Hamilton - thanks for drawing this to users' attention.

These are ebooks - guides available as electronic books which can be transferred to handheld devices like e book readers such as Kindle etc. IMHO This is a really positive development. I've purchased a Kindle and I'm in love with it - I can read books, instantly download new ones and I've up loaded those guides available to download from the CSJ. At 10 oz it is remarkable.

Best wishes with the enterprise.
