The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
This is great, lucky for you. Why are there no pilgrims in east central Illinois? I have tried repeatedly to form an APOC group, but no luck. Wishing you much success in your endeavor, buen camino, Laurie

Thank you peregrina2000 I know that there are pilgrims here and I hope they join.

Do you have an REI store in your area? @intrepidtraveler and I started a chapter in Southern Oregon, and our biggest turn outs have always been when we do a presentation at REI. That's also where we did our very first presentation, and the REI employee who is in charge of these things was blown away by the turnout. The great thing is that REI advertises the events on their website.

Hi Trecile I live in a rural area and there is no REI store in my area. Most of my group will be people who have done a camino or are researching on-line. There are several hiking groups that I hope to draw from.

I'm newly in Erie PA. Where are you located exactly? There's a long border between PA and NY.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).

Hi Priscilla NC I am in Bradford County, PA which is considered the Northern Tier of PA. The Southern Tier of NY is the Finger Lakes area.

Thanks, that's a ways off, I'm in NW PA very close to the NY border but further west.

Good luck getting your chapter off the ground. I attended this year's APOC gathering, it was awesome.

Good luck. I grew up in the Southern Tier of NY, in Allegany County. You have a nearby interesting possibility for a long distance walk mostly on trail, with lodging, from the headwaters of the Genesee River to Lake Ontario.

Congrats on the new chapter! My husband and I went to a potluck last week with around two dozen people from our local chapter. We had never met them before since we only recently learned about the group. We had a great time!

austinpilgrim I will look into that trail. I have friends who have hiked several trails in upstate New York.
