The book lists accommodation along the camino Frances ranging from 'no-cost' to 11 euro.
I sincerely hope the 'no-cost' albergues are not the 'donativo' albergues????
I worked in a 'donativo' albergue and the donations received one day paid for the meals we prepared for pilgrims the following day. They also paid for their tea/coffee, first aid items, electricity, water, cleaning materials etc. 'No-cost' albergues are a misnomer and should not be advertised as such.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Hi John,

Not to disturb your sales efforts, but this was all I needed:

http://www.csj.org.uk/acatalog/The_CSJ_ ... in_23.html Fantastic useful :!:

You can also download and print for "free" (donativo is my recommended action):

http://www.csj.org.uk/guides-online.htm

And a route planner (free):

http://www.godesalco.com/plan/frances

I used the route planner to find appropriate daily distances and elevation differences, then printed and laminated it. It was a big help as well as fun to study along the way over a pint or two  .
