New front Page

Ivar - I really like the new Forum opening page. I like that I can see the FORUM logo right away to click on and the list of topics is easy for anyone who is visiting the forum.

Thank you Sil, yes it is less cluttered.. easier to navigate. I also wanted it to be easy to find the forum from the front page.

Many enter the site via the front page, and I don't like anyone to leave the site until they at least visit the forum.

Yes, I know... I used to have a list of recent posts listed there.

In case you did not know, you can get a similar list here:
By clicking the "View active topics" link towards the top of the forum home page...
search.php?search_id=active_topics

..or a list of the new messages since your last visit here:
By clicking the "View new posts" link towards the top of the forum home page...
search.php?search_id=newposts

Alternatively, just click on the RSS feed link in your browsers address bar:

.. so there are many ways to get such a list... I have bookmarked these links, and use this as my way of keeping up on what is going on in the forum.
