Hi everyone,
Has anyone heard of, or have a jacket from Revolution Race?

If you do have one, how did you like it?

Thanks

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hi @philo,

I do own GP Pro jacket from RR.
Very sturdy and comfortable jacket. Not for long hikes. Breathes good. Quite Heavy.
I am using it for 3-5 day hikes in forest, or "hard terrain" coz its just undreakable. You can try cut it with a knife and nothnig will happen to it.
Definetly not for Camino.

Friend has Cyclone 2 rescue jacket. He hiked Kungsleden in it. Comfortable, holds rain well, but a bit heavy. Again, jacket for bad/hard weather conditions, when its raining for a week staight and you sleep in a tent or bivy.
Definetly not for Camino.

We purchased jackets long time ago, when RR were just starting so probably now they do things differently.

They do great pants though, those I can highly reccommend.

Great, thanks, was wondering if they were Camino friendly or not.

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
I love my RR jacket, I’ve had it for 2 years now. Think it might be the cyclone?
It’s warm, wind proof, waterproof, pretty good breathability, has lots of pockets, and is great for local hiking.
But it is bulky, and there are many lighter jackets around.
I wouldn’t take it on a Camino.
However I did seriously consider taking it when I recently went trekking in Nepal - though ended up taking a north face jacket which squished down smaller to fit in the stretchy front pouch of my daypack.
On the Revolution Race website you can see the weight of each jacket in the specifications, and there are some lightweight jackets now.
If I buy another jacket I will definitely consider RR again.
