I was looking for some info on the Camino Vasco del Interior and found an announcement on a facebook page — as of July 25, the Irún albergue is in a new place. Much bigger, 60 beds!

New address is Calle Lesaka, no. 1. It´s in an old school building, better space, kitchen, outdoor space, place for bikes. The albergue will continue to be staffed by the Association Jacobi.

Let us know what you think if you stay there — it sounds like a huge improvement!

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
If you're to search on Google Map, type ''Lesaca Kalea, Irun''(with a C vice a K). Otherwise, ''Lesaka, Irun'' doesn't show anything.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
Does the expression C vice a K Just mean put in the C instead of the K?

I just tried google maps and put in Irun train station as starting point and Albergue de Peregrinos de Irun as ending point, and googlemaps brought up the new location. That’s probably easiest, because for some reason, like Canuck, I had trouble finding it with just the street address.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

I have advised the Albergue in Irun of the situation and they have made the necessary changes, hence the showing on the map now.
