I am from Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. I am planning to walk the Camino with 4 women friends of mine in September. The planning and training has been fun, exciting and time consuming. Booking the flights, buying the packs and figuring out dates has all helped our group come closer together. Joining this forum is the next step in learning more about this adventure.

Yahoo, glad you found the forum 4isabell, it is great reference material and the participants are top notch, you will get lots of info, some even conflicting :wink: .
I'm a Nova Scotian and have walked the Frances in Sept 2011 and the Portuguese route last year and looks like I will be in France this year to walk some kms from Le Puy.
Do some skulking around and ask some questions.

Mary Beth and Roly McSorley will recount their fascinating walk on the Camino Frances from St. Jean Pied de Port to Santiago, and on to Finisterre.
