Puente Castro, a suburb of León, just opened a reception and interpretive centre for pilgrims, located in the Church of San Pedro.
The museum section focuses on local Roman, Christian, and especially Jewish history. The centre in general is described as a place to get information on León before entering the city, as well as a place where pilgrims can rest.
Could be a nice place to take a break on the long slog into León....
