New sello and food stop between Pontedeume and Miño!

We left from Pension Meson Paz outside Pontedeume, thinking there were no facilities until Miño (where we were planning to spend the night), but were delighted to find a little place at the bottom of a hill! (Just a few km before Miño) She had a sign for coffee and tea 400m ahead, and has one outdoor table. She also has fruit, pastries, cheese, water, juice. She was telling me she has been very busy the last few days, but last week the Ingles was very quiet.
We 3 are staying in the municipal albergue in Miño, sharing space with 2 groups of Italians, with at least 4 bunks still open at 6:30 pm. It rained hard briefly mid-afternoon, so hoping kirkie didn’t get wet!

Hi - I did the Ingles in May 2017 and we got our Credenciales in Ferrol at the Concatedral San Julian in Rua da Ingrexa (as the Tourist Office, contrary to what most tour guides advise, doesn't supply them).
I recollect we went to the Concatedral on a Saturday when Evening Mass was taking place (see opening hours on attached photo I took at the TO although may have changed since 2017?).
Got our Credenciales from an office at the back of the Concatedral which had a separate entrance.
Nice to get an official sello for the first one, I feel, and, yes, I always fill out the required details on the inside cover/first page before starting a Camino.

I was twice on the Camino Inglés this year and on both occasions collected credenciales from Tourist office right beside the starting point of the Camino.

Was on the Ingles some years ago. No other pilgrims, and wherever I was the locals looked surprised a pilgrim was walking. Few facilities. Sounds like things have changed!

Just found this post, Becky! I got home yesterday and have some stuff to attend to, but will soon revisit my time on the Inglés. If/when it rained, I got wet, as you saw in Bruma! It was so lovely to spot you on the way! Hope your return to everyday life has been smooth. I missed the rain yesterday on the way from the airport bus to my home, just as well as I had my trolley case and my rucksack, with no free hand to get my poncho out!
