Just finished reverse-walking the Aragonés! Sunburned walking into Jaca on Thursday, snowed on the next day walking up to the Somport Pass!

Just a reminder to everyone that early spring weather on routes crossing the mountains can have very variable weather in early Spring, so pack appropriately and always check the weather.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

Hello, Vacajoe!
What is the walking from Santa Cilia to Jaca? Do You walk along to the edge of highway?

Many people DO walk on the edge of the roadway, but it’s unnecessary - the old Camino route goes from Santa Cilia to Santa Cruz to Jaca completely off the road. Few take it because it is longer, but it’s much nicer and the village of Santa Cruz is quite nice.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
