Norte side trip: Baamonde - Muxia - Fisterra - SdC

Planning a Norte trip for later this year and looking to see if it is possible to take a side trip to Muxia/Fisterra and then finishing at SdC. Never been to Muxia or Fisterra so it would be a new destination for me. Looks like I would cross the Ingles at Siguerio.

Has anyone tried this or some pointers about which route I might take rather than just going cross country?

Well.... after Santiago - it is easy to walk/bus to Finisterre/Muxia. I highly recommend walking! Many do the Camino Finisterre after arriving in Santiago. I did it last year - it took me 3 days to get to Muxia and 1 to get to Finisterre (recommend doing the opposite though). Then you can walk or bus back to Santiago to start heading home.

I don't know the other town you mentioned.

El Norte finishes in SantiagodC. From there I walked to Muxia and then to Finisterra. I HIGHLY recommend both scenic places. I walked 2 days to Muxia and stayed one night. Then I walked one day to Finisterra stayed 3 nights in a proper hotel by the sea and rested walked the beach. Walked to the light house. Had a massage before returning to SdC by bus and then night bus to Madrid airport. Buen Camino

We walked to Finisterre from SdC last fall, then bused to Muxia. Both are great. If you were short on time, Muxia is the quieter fishing village. If you like celebrating your accomplishment with nightlife, etc., Finisterre is more lively. The walk is wonderful, and finishing our Camino by watching the waves roll in was a perfect camino ending for my wife and me - much preferred over the hustle and bustle of SdC.
