I have recently purchased the book/guide for the Northern Caminos, having previously walked the Camino de Santiago. Can you tell me if a passport (credential) is available at the start or elsewhere along the way. Are there Albergue and pilgrim meals along the way. There don't seem to be albergue marked on the maps provided.
Thanks
Janet

Hmm? I wonder which guide that is. You might find one of the selection here more helpful:

A credencial is (usually) available from the Albergue in Irun at C/Lucas de Berroa 18, tel: 635 743774 or 645 722725. Opens 4pm. There are plenty of Albergues along the Norte though not at the frequency found on the Frances.

I thought I had this all figured out, but I have ended up with 2 train tickets from San Sebastian (I don't even know if it's the airport or the town) to Irun, instead of ONE that goes all the way...
I use Alltrails a lot here in the US, in Iceland, on the Via Podiensis and a bit on the CF. Will it be useful on the Norte? For example, people here say the "warm up" from Biarritz to Irun (or...
