Oh, my darling, oh my darling Clementine!
Oh my darling, oh my darling
Oh my darling, Clementine
You are lost and gone forever
Dreadful sorry, Clementine

How I missed her! How I missed her
How I missed my Clementine
But I kissed her little sister
I forgot my Clementine

Oh my darling, oh my darling
Oh my darling, Clementine
You are lost and gone forever
Dreadful sorry, Clementine

As am I.

I only knew the refrain.

You can’t be lost and gone forever.

With whom would I tussle with for double 00s.

Hey, NYC...I've considered part of the Vdlp with the Sanabres for spring...or the last half of the Norte. Please tell me if you are serious...I could follow your footsteps if you go! 👣👣👣

I am thinking Sanabres.

Ideally, next spring I would like to walk VdlP from Seville to Sanabres then on to Muxia then Fisterra.

However, finding someone to care for mom that long may prove difficult.

That’s one reason I am delaying the last 100 of any route right now, usual caretaker is having some problems.

Not too mention I am waaaaay out of shape.

Thank you for your candid reply. I hope for you to find a way to walk the camino of your choice and do not need to wait too long! 😚

Oh my darling, oh my darling,
Oh my darling, Clementime.

Some like oranges, some like limes,
But you're my favorite, dear Clementine!

I like squishy, I like juicy,
You're my one and only, Clementine!

Hi Peter!
Thanks for letting us know about your official retirement...good for you!
I will be doing a spring camino of approx. 4-5 weeks. I haven't quite determined the route yet, but if I can work it out to end in Santiago while you and Marianne are volunteering I will try, but no guarantee yet. I will eventually let you know. It would be so nice to meet you in person!

But, is it a woman’s best friend too?
Yes, ma'am...why not! I can't have a pooch of my own, but I have a curly haired chubby fellow who I consider my best 4-legged friend. He does not reside in my household...but it still counts! 😊

I don’t know whether any of the “not serious” noticed some of the other articles linked to the altar boys post recently...they made me chuckle.
I particularly liked the American pensioner who bought his dentures online....and now speaks Chinese.
The one topical article related to the dog abandoned by his owner when he moved hundreds of miles away. The dog trekked hundreds of miles to bite his owner...and then trekked back.
Ain’t the “not serious”a lovely place.

I didn' notice them until you mentioned it. Most of them are what I'd call:

Can you provide the titles of the two threads for us? It would be quicker to look them up...maybe there are other laughs to be had in the threads!

There are....if you open the link to the post by @Derrybiketours recently and scroll down from the altar boys “article” you will see other articles in a typically non serious vein.

Yep, dark gray clouds...that's what late fall is all about. I love laying on a blanket and figuring out what the various clouds look like...hey, that one resembles an eluphunt!
EDIT...or is it spelled elouphount. 🤔

Not much to say but I'm reporting in. An eastern cottontail rabbit hopped up to me a few minutes ago. I should have taken its picture but I didn't want the movement to scare it away. I've had my place about 35 years and seen plenty of different kinds of animals, some that were even once on the US endangered species list, but somehow rabbits were scarce. This guy has been visiting since it was a bunny. I've decided to call it Vincent (it is missing the tip of an ear).

It means something like: ”Careful. Ice on roof. In case of injury no liability”

They just don’t take the trouble to remove them during summer. In my country in the public parks you can find signs all year saying “The paths are only cleared of snow and salted occasionally” :D
