i was wondering if anyone would share some info / advise in walking El Camino( camino Frances ) in November .
It's the only time I can do it but, I had concerns with the weather, temps , cold, rain etc.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

I have done it twice. The weather was not bad. Many places close at the end of October, so plan accordingly. Crowds will have diminished, but you will not be alone. Buen camino.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Thank you Falcon,
Walking and cool
Temps
Sounds good to
Me .
What kinds of thing remain open , did you have to carry more warm clothing and a cold weather sleeping bag or anything .
Thank you

This earlier thread re walking the CF in late autumn offers many helpful tips including gear lists.

Starting mid-October not all albergues will be open, but the welcome at those albergues which are is usually very sincere. Most will be heated and/or have blankets. Generally the hospitaleros know who is open on the next stage.

Happy planning and Buen camino!

I always carry layers, so I added nothing. I use a lightweight nylon sleep sack and albergue blankets, and had no problem with cold. I now have a Cumulus sleeping bag (internet from Poland, Magic 125 Zip at 270 grams), and would take it.

I was looking at the wisepilgrim app for the Frances route and noticed that the distances don't always add up from one side to the other. Has anyone else noticed this? Am I being overly observant...
