O Porrino via Variante Spiritual

Does anyone know if i would start in O Porrino and walk via the Variante Spiritual from Pontevedra and take the boat from Vilanova into Pontecesures if i would qualify for a Compostela (because the boatride)?

No better is to start in Tui. Tui is 20 kms back from O Porriño. And Tui is 100 kms to Santiago

This is written on the credencial: in order to obtain the Compostela, you must start the Spiritual Variant at least in Porriño or Vigo.

MariaSP is correct: either Tui or O Porriño will work. My wife and I worked in the Pilgrims Office in 2019 and we were told that both were acceptable for receiving the Compostela (while including the boat ride on the Spiritual Variant). If you take the coastal Portuguese into Spain, you can also start from Vigo (and include the SP).
