Hello all, my name is Amber, I’ll be starting the Frances route Oct 4 from SJPP. I first heard of the Camino while living in Germany when a friend’s mother had walked it then came to visit. Back then I never believed I could do anything like that myself but I admired her bravery and sense of adventure. I’ve spent the past three years living in Japan and I walked the other UNESCO World heritage pilgrimage in Japan the Kumano Kodo. After realizing I CAN do physically and mentally hard things I set my sites on being a Duel Pilgrim. I am looking forward to the adventure, enlightenment and kindness I’ve been promised will find me on The Way.
