Never get lost now on the Camino with this app on your smartphone. With online maps and GPS on your phone, it doesn't require one to have internet access. Used to cost 4.99 now after acquisition by Mail.ru is free.

Note: I started using this on my Camino del Norte 2 years ago as a way for me to find potential isolated beach (my own private beach!) and this app is a good way for me to a detour and back without getting lost. Also came in handy on my first leg of the Camino Levante as the waymarking was really bad.

There are really no need for this for most Caminos but if you start to walk the really less trodden Caminos or if you intend to do slight detours then this is what you need.... or if you have an internet plan just use Google Maps on the smartphone.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
