- Time of past OR future Camino
- 2011, 2013
CAMINO, The Journey to Santiago will have it's world premier at the Oxford Mississippi Film Festival on February 22 & 23rd, 2013! Our short documentary is a film about a pilgrim's hike across Spain on the Camino Frances. The simple impressionistic film creates a casual narrative about the ancient journey and what it's like during the modern revival.
A small yellow arrow painted on a stone. Walnuts scattered like pebbles across a shaded trail. Sharing the morning hike with a stray herd of cows. Groaning in distress at painful and unwilling knees. These are moments paradoxically unique and common to the pilgrims on the journey. What was your experience? How will's yours be unique?
If you are from the Mid-South region, a past or future pilgrim, we encourage you to attend the screening and share in the conversation afterwards. Film festivals are good fun with good people, and the Oxford Film Festival especially so. Join the event if you can!
