What are my options on finishing the camino? My origional plan was going to arzua tomorrow, but are there options to go past arzua a little? I would like to finish in 2 or 3 days and wondering what other people have done. Thanks!!
In July 2010 I walked to Arzua, the place was completo, even the polideportivo. I asked at the tourist info booth on the main drag if there was places and they said in about 13km there is a place in Brea, an Albergue , they rang ahead and reserved a place for me and my 2 walking companions. So I would suggest walk to Arzua and then see how you feel, the place in Brea is still largely unkown and only have seen it mentioned once on here by Terry and Valarie, and I feel there is other places which if you ask at the tourist info. will reveal themselves.
Check out the albergue possibilities listed in Eroski for Etapa 29 and higher. I've always enjoyed the Xunta de Galicia albergue in Arzua and been tempted by the private albergues in Salceda and in Santa Irene. Another tempting spot where I have not yet stayed but always eat a delicious slice of tarte de Santiago is the Casa de Amancio in Vilamaior.
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
