I'm hoping to stay in Orrison on my first night, but having trouble getting to their reservation site...does anyone have some info on this. Have tried some of other links on previous forum suggestions, alas, to no avail....greatly appreciated if you do

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

I googled Orisson and was no problem. It take about 2 days. Wish you well and a Buen Camino, Peter.

I received notification in about two days. Just a question I did not prepay was not sure by email if this was required. It did note PayPal and other options. Did others prepay

Yes, you should prepay to confirm your reservation and many people suggest calling the day before to reconfirm that your planned arrival.

It was very clearly stated that reservation is only valid if paid.

I got a separate email from them requesting payment to reserve thru PayPal .... It was NOT from the same email account that initially confirmed my availability .... Look for a second email maybe in your junk folder with the payment requirements if you have recieved positive confirmation of the dates you require being available. I had to alter my initial reservation and the reply was several days later .... Can be up to a week I think .... There is a phone number ....maybe you can call?

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
I sent a booking off to Orrison last week for the 6th Sept 2015, not yet had a reply so I went into their web page and noticed that validation box on the bottom, I had committed to do this, so I guess it's no surprise that I hadn't heard anything.
Hopefully this time I'll get a reply. Easy to make mistake when you're all geared up.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Nothing wrong with the plans, all according to the golden rule book of planning: you have plan A (Orisson) and plan B (no Orisson).
BTW the same people also operate the Kayola alberge not far away. And Ithurburia in Hontto is an option. (all info from this forum)
