Osprey Atmos AG 65 hip pockets question

Time of past OR future Camino
I will
Quick one.

The hip pockets on this have a velcro backing and with 'apparent' adjustment arrows on the actual belt. Can't for the life of me see how to 'move' them along further around to the front of the hipbelt. They seem very much stitched in place.

I actually thought they were NOT movable until I saw the arrows plus velcro. Are they?

European version (if that makes a difference).

Thanks

The pockets don't move but the hip belt does elongate or shorten. When you see the arrows then the hip belt has been elongated. You can push the hip belt back into the pocket area (making it shorter) and the arrows disappear.

The hip belt buckle can also move and so if you shorten the hip belt but move the buckle then the hip pockets sort of moves around your hip.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Ge1ert, I have a similar Osprey pack. I played with it for hours, just as you are doing, and it fits me like a glove. Play with it, adjust the torso and the hip belt as well as the whistle cross strap. Learn that pack BEFORE you hike with it. You will be happy with it. Mine hugs me like a girlfriend. Good luck with your Camino. All the best,
Tom Quinn
