Do call in for a tea/coffee and enjoy some camino conversation with other pilgrims or come along to one of the group sharing sessions at 10.00 am or 2.30 pm. I really enjoyed my Camino conversation. It was a wonderful way to articulate my experience. Thank you Katharine

I've not heard of Camino Companions until now, so have missed out on the opportunity to participate in the past. Where is this being advertised in addition to Ivar's forum?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Hmmm checked the website but not finding anything related to the Camino. Unless I've gone blind...also a reasonable possibility!! ;) So...just a quick synopsis? Gracias!

I called in on this Camino Companions welcome meeting upstairs at the Pilgrim Office in August - it was absolutely amazing. It was just me and a lovely nun and nice cups of tea. I stayed an hour and a half, she was so great, we had the best chat and I left feeling as light as air. I couldn't believe more people don't take advantage of it.

There are banners around in the Pilgrim Office for the various welcome services - I think English, German, Dutch, French and South American if I remember rightly, with the hours they work. But many people whizz out of the pilgrim office as soon as they have that piece of paper in their hands.

There is a resource on here which I have updated with the banner (also below).

Does anyone know a good shop I SDC where they have local cheeses, hams and other delicacies to take home?
The Galicia Rail pass is available to anyone who completes the Camino and is awarded the completion certificate. It allows for 3 days of train travel and also discounts to other places you may...
Has anybody recently volunteered at the Pilgrim office for the 15 day timeframe? Where did you stay in Santiago?
For those who are in Santiago 🙏🏻
