Painting - Finding Your Way

I just completed my latest painting, this one inspired by the various arrows, shells, and signs marking the Camino routes.

The collage of markers is laid out to signify that while the Camino route is marked, every Camino is unique to the individual and sometimes our way is not logical or straight forward as we encounter obstacles (physical, emotional and spiritual) along our Camino.

The markers are set along a background I painted a light sky blue to symbolize that keeping an open mind and open heart brings us the most fulfillment on our Camino and in life as well.

Finished this one of Ponte Maceira today. A gift for a fellow pilgrim I met two years ago! Time to leave it alone or it will turn to mud!
