Pamplona to SJPP by bus?

I've posted this in another category but nobody has answered and I'm starting to get a little bit stresed out about my plans so...

Does anyone know a fast and cheap way to go from Pamplona busstation to SJdPP on May 14 except from Express Bourricot (they'll only leave from the airport this day)?

I only know of two methods to get from Pamplona to SJPdP, one of which is Express Burricot (which I have booked on the 14th May :p) and another bus service departing at 6pm, which only brings you to Roncesvalles. From there, the only option I know of would be a shared taxi to SJPdP.

Best of luck!

Will you arrive to the airport by plane? Or do you take a bus from the busstation?

I will arrive with bus from Madrid but don't know how to get myself to the airport to catch the Express B. from there..

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Hi Novelia,

There was a glitch in the forum where a lot of posts got deleted as Ivar was updating, so maybe your post/replies were also deleted. I know another woman travelling the same day and she is getting the bus to Roncesvalles and then a taxi to SJPdP the 14th of May!(she just missed out the first bus) I'll pass on the post to her :)

What is your ETA? If it is before 13:00 you should be able to get the same bus as Kenny, if is is after 13:30, it'll probably be the bus to Roncesvalles and a taxi. It depends on your arrival time.

I'll arrive to Pamplona at 6.30 something with the nightbus from Madrid. So if anyone happend to see a zombie walking in Pamplona that day it might be me (can't sleep on buses haha)

As I wrote.. I don't know how to get to the airport to catch the bus to SJPP.. that's my biggest problem right now

Hi Novelia,

I am the woman that Dee was talking about that arrives in Pamplona on 14 May at 13.40hrs (thanks Dee ;) ). I just miss the Express Bourricot bus by 10 minutes.

My plan is to get the 6pm bus to Roncesvalles & then a taxi to SJPP, so should arrive 8pmish.

Do you arrive at 6.30am or pm on 14th?

Would be great to meet-up in Pamplona and travel together to SJPP if you plan to get the 6pm bus to Roncesvalles.

Hope this helps!
Excited.com ... not long to go!! :D

Hi Fiona,,
I'm arriving 6.30 i the morning.. So maybe I could discover the city during the day and then go with you to SJPP, we could share a cab.. :)
Do you have any idea of how much it would cost with bus and taxi to SJPP? Have you booked a bed somewhere in SJPP since it's such a late arrival?

If you're excited.com then I'm waytomuchexcited.com haha, i've been packing for two weeks now haha

Hi Novelia,

As much as I would love to travel to SJPP with you that day, you (unlike me  ) would still be in time to get the 13.30 Express Bourricot bus direct to SJPP..... for about 16-21 Euros ...see http://www.expressbourricot.com/en.html

I did find out how much the 6pm bus & taxi cost (if shared) and it is a little more than Express Bouricott but not much... depends how many there are to share with.

I have booked accommodation only for the first night in SJPP, at Le Chemin Vers (0559372071)

Have had my stuff all over the spare bed for a while now but haven't actually got round to the 'packing' stage yet! Am only bringing a 33L rucksack with me so am avoiding packing in case it won't all fit!! (Nah, I'm sure it will be ok.... I have compression bags & am have already cut-back considerably on what I was going to take)

Ok.........am now MEGAexcited.com

See you on Monday hopefully !
