I really do not know where to post this as it seems to cover all the routes except the Camino Frances. But I do not wish to post this several times on the forums.
The news is that another new initiative by the Xunta de Galicia (the Government of Galicia).
This time pilgrims will be able to receive a discount when they produce a passport when sleeping at hotels or casa rurals on Caminos other than the main French route. There are timing limits as it is only available for certain moths of the year. There is no other information as to how you (as a pilgrim) apply for a passport and neither have I got any information as to what establishments will be in the passport “offer”. it is said that the Xunta is contacting establishments.
As I work in the tourism industry I will hopefully receive some sort of information about this soon, but I am not going to hold my breath.
