I started my camino in August this year and walked from St Jean pied de Port to Logrono, I am wondering if the stamps collected on the passport have an expiry date? How long do I have before I need to resume my walk?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
Thank you Kitsambler and Tincatinker, I thought I read somewhere that the rules had changed with the introduction of the official credential passport and that you had to resume the walk within a year or so of the last stamp. Glad to hear that I can continue on from my last stop.

The stamps in your credential will always be there to remind you of your pilgrimage.
To obtain the Compostela, you only need two stamps a day from Sarria (if on the Camino francés). The rest is just for your benefit and memories you will cherish. :)

I too was curious about the stamps. Where do you get these stamps. Are they available at the local cafes or pubs or do you have to go to the churches in the towns. Looking to walk the Camino in 2019 in the spring.

Hi and welcome!
The albergues will stamp your Credential, also the churches (if there is no-one there usually is a stamp/ink pad available somewhere near the entrance)... Also the cafes, sometimes even the police :D

Even some of the roadside vendors have a stamp for your Credentiel. But do not seek out the Stamp of, "Ramon." He is a character created from a number of historical Camino characters in the movie, "The Way."

No i have done 3 different routes in 3 years, never reached Santiago, but the stamps will never expire
