Hello. :). Quick question. Is the passport to collect stamps sold in SJPdP the same one that Ivar sells through this forum? ie the Spanish one? Thanks you!

No, it's not exactly the same, but it's an official credential. Ivar sells the credential issued by the cathedral in Santiago. The credential from SJPdP is issued by the French pilgrim's society.

Thank you Trecile. That’s what I suspected. I’m order from Ivar and have it mailed to Canada. Appreciate the pictures. 👍❤️

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Yes. I did see that one and asked for the measurements to fit into my RFID fanny pack. Maybe I’m just being too literal here by wanting the Spanish credential as 99% of the walk is in Spain. Food for thought.

Nothing wrong with that :)

And i like the look of the spanish one better. Although it has less room for stamps. My French one is bigger.

You can also order one from the American Company of Pilgrims, they will mail to the US and Canada, no charge for the credential or the postage but you are welcome to give a donation.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
I ended up with both the Canadian and the Spanish ones on my last Camino Frances. We started with the Canadian one and by the time we got to Leon it was clear that one would not be enough to hold the stamps we would receive before arriving in SdC. So we each got another one there (Spanish) and a few days later, were ready when our Canadian credencials were filled. My son, Toby, worked it out perfectly so that the stamp from the lighthouse in Finisterre took the last available spot in his second credencial.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Here's the website to request a credential from American Pilgrims on the Camino

I always order mine through APOC. I like that the required information for obtaining a Compostela is already filled out inside the Credencial so I don't forget to do it myself.

This reminds me, I need to get online and get them ordered for Jill and myself for October's Camino Ingles. :)
