Starting from Barcelos on 16th Sept as far as Casa Fernanda (DG) and only God knows after that. Ponte de Lima seems too close and Rubiàes too far for the following day. Any advice?

I plan to start The Camino from Porto September 10th. Excited, but not a light traveler!! If you see me passed out somewhere, drag me to next alburgue please!

You will love Porto!! Make sure you do the “hop on, hop off” bus tour around city and the boat cruise up and down the river is great too!

I’m going to do the Coastal and probably the “Espiritual” leg also, then on to Santiago. I want to do half the Spain route, but I have to go to Gran Canaria for 2 weeks in between

Seven days in September

I have seven days which have popped up free in my diary and am going to fly to Oporto on 19 Sept and start walking north.

My idea (not a fixed plan) is:

· to walk by the seaside as far as Vila do Conde
· switch to the coastal route via Barcelos/Ponte de Lima/Rubiaes as far as Tui
· BUS to Pontevedra
· to walk the Variante Espiritual and boat to Padron

Although my purpose is contemplative and spiritual & I hope to attend mass in Santiago before flying home, I am not looking for a Compostela.

Advice or comment my route would be welcome.

My regards
Peter

I would like to walk the river route in Tui next month. I can see on google maps exactly where it starts, but it seems a bit overgrown. Has anybody used this route this year or last year...
Hello, my friend of 50+ years and I are on our first Camino walk. We are looking for: 1) safe, comfortable hostels in Lisbon; 2) stages from Lisbon to Porto (via Tomar) in about 16 days...
Hi I have searched everywhere to see if there is a luggage service from Lisbon to Porto. I know there is from Porto to Santiago, but Lisbon ???. Thanks for any info.
