One of the disadvantages of my Camino in June, was that the Sun set so late and I was just too tired to take advantage of what I assume where incredible night Skys along the Camino, to this end when I return to walk from Santiago to Finisterre in a few weeks, I shall drive from Santander to Santiago via some place between Burgos and Leon with the hope of seeing the Perseid meteor shower.
My main reason for posting this is really to make Pilgrims on Camino aware, that it might be worth venturing outside in the middle of the night, maybe wake all the other Pilgrims in the dorm, I am sure they will thank you for it............eventually.

PS thats a UK link, but it will be a thing in Spain as it was an email from Paradores touting seeing it that alerted me.

What is the Perseid meteor shower, when does it happen and how can I see it in 2024?
