As one who is truly obsessed with all things concerning Saint James, I have discovered that he is also quite interested in me, my doings, my life. I am always searching him out and he is easily found in London, in Chicago, inParis, in Venice, in New York , here in Jerusalem, no problem. But he has a way to find me as well. Just back from dinner with some new friends-colleagues of my wife, people who don't know anything about me but the wine served at dinner?
petit sj.jpg So for all those who may be sitting at home planning or wishing to return to the Camino for all those passing Bordeaux on the Via Turonensis open your eyes and look for this one! A very nice table wine indeed!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
I gave MS a bottle a year ago as she started her 8th Camino. I have searched all over Biarritz since then and can not find a bottle anywhere. It does exist and I guess I will be driving up to Bordeaux next spring to find the source.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

I still remember it with pleasure! Shared it with other pilgrims in the SJPdP municipal that night. What a happy way to start my 9th CF.

i haven't had the chance to try le petit saint jacques, however i always grab a bottle of 'Peregrino' (Wine from the region of León) when i swing by Ponferrada, which is the only place I have found it in Spain. Salud!peregrino-tinto-maceracion.jpg
